18th-Century Literature and Visual Culture Research Network

Description

The 18th-Century Literature and Visual Culture Research Network aims to bring together literary scholars with researchers from other disciplines to facilitate the study of literature’s fascinating relationship with all aspects of visual culture in the long eighteenth century.

The network was founded in response to the growing research interest in literature’s relationship with visual culture in the long-eighteenth century. Network members aim to provide a valuable source of information for scholarly resources, and to bring researchers together through productive dialogue on this topic.

The network plans to hold an annual panel at the British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (BSECS) conference, which takes place in Oxford in early January each year.
