The Institute of Jewish Studies (IJS) at UCL is a research centre dedicated to the promotion of all aspects of Jewish scholarship and civilisation at the highest level of academic excellence.

Members are dedicated to the founding principle that there should be no barriers to learning so they make every effort to reach a wide audience through their lecture programmes, conferences, and collaborations with academic institutions in the UK and abroad.

All the events are free to attend and open to everyone.
