African Studies Research Centre (ASRC)
Description
The UCL African Studies Research Centre (ASRC) serves as a nexus of collegial interaction and education for ongoing projects across the continent. Africa is the primary research area for more than 35 permanent members of staff at UCL. The ASRC also runs multiple seminar series and symposia which it coordinates with national and international academic partners.
The UCL African Studies Research Centre forms part of the UCL Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS). Its programmes sit within the Centre for Multidisciplinary and Intercultural Enquiry (CMII). The Centre draws on the expertise of the UCL Africa and Middle East Network. Details of postgraduate courses can be found on the SELCS site.
