Societas Celto-Slavica
Description
Societas Celto-Slavica was founded in 2004 at the meeting held at the Institute for Linguistic Research, Moscow, with the aim of fostering and developing scientific collaboration between students and scholars of Celtic in Celtic-speaking and Slavic countries. Including its inaugural colloquium at Ulster University in Coleraine held between 19-21 June 2005, the Societas organised ten colloquia so far, the last one hosted by the University of Leipzig Institute for Sorbian Studies in October 2022. The journal of the Society, Studia Celto-Slavica, is published on a bi-annual basis in co-operation between Ulster University and Western University of Brittany (Brest).
