Governance and Human Rights Research Group
Description
Researchers at the Governance and Human Rights Research Group work on theories of governance, the formulation of normative governance frameworks and the embedding of structures to put these into practice. They also work at the intersection of human rights and contemporary challenges such as climate change, asylum and international crime.
Current areas of research include:
- Asylum and Refugee Law
- International Human Rights Law
- International Criminal Law
- Environmental Law
- Constitutional Theory
- Law and Governance in Wales
- Health Law
- Drug Control and Human Rights
Members are a strong academic community that publishes work of international quality. They regularly discuss cutting-edge research in the Governance and Human Rights Discussion Group.
