International Network for Voice

Description

The International Network for Voice is a membership organisation that facilitates continuing professional development for and with voice teachers, practitioners and researchers. The network acts as a hub for information and activities related to voice in the arts, particularly theatre and performance. The network aims to develop strategic alliances with key national and international partners including the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre, the Royal Conservatoire for Scotland, and VASTA in the United States, amongst others.

Previous events have included A World Voice Day event for 2015 hosted by International Network for Voice and Voice Care Network UK. This event, called GENDER and VOICE included sessions on voice change for gender-variant clients and on Reproductive Resonances: An Exploration of the Links Between Voice and Endometriosis for Performers.

The International Network for Voice has hosted the Certification Programme for Associate Teachers of Fitzmaurice Voicework®.
