Strand Group

Description

The Strand Group explores how power operates at the centre of government. Its research and teaching activities examine the history and operation of the institutions of British government. The group’s events bring together figures from the worlds of government, business, journalism and academia to discuss pertinent contemporary issues and to place them into their historical context, and perform an important public engagement function for King’s College London. The Strand Group’s teaching programme also brings practitioners into the classroom to provide students with a unique opportunity to interrogate primary sources first-hand.
