Description

The Film Philosophy cluster brings together members of the Department of Film at Queen Mary University of London whose research lies in the field of film philosophy.

Its research ranges across the two main schools of Western philosophy (continental and analytic) and Eastern thought. Members have strengths in ethics, ideology, phenomenology, film archaeology, non-human and environmental humanities, end of life, religion and film, gesture, cognitivism, and Daoism.
