Trauma and Memory Studies Group
Description
Trauma and Memory Studies Group hosts and has full editorial control of two journals: Studies in Testimony, a new digital online peer reviewed open access journal, and the International Journal of Literature and Trauma Studies network .
The Ghent Trauma Centre and the Saragossa Trauma and Narrative centre are currently affiliated to the International Journal of Trauma and Literature network and the Holocaust Studies Centre at Royal Holloway is also affiliated and actively collaborates with members of the group and supports Studies in Testimony.
The group collaborates with the Manchester Jewish Museum and will be seeking closer involvement with the National Holocaust Centre.
A seminar and symposium on post-Hiroshima poetry and Hiroshima in Japanese cultural memory took place at Manchester Met in November 2017, to coincide with the Manchester Japanese Festival.
